Our guild, The Zug Initiative, pretty much falls into the world of “casual raiding”.
We schedule two nights a week for raiding.
If you can’t make it, that’s fine. If you’re late, that’s fine. If you’re undergeared, that’s fine. So on and so forth.
We aren’t cutting edge. We don’t min/max our toons. We even run with a BM hunter. So on and so forth.
Tonight, we downed a boss that has been giving us some trouble our last few visits into the Icecrown Citadel. Whether we were plagued with bad luck with boss mechanics, poorly timed disconnects from the main tank, or mishap with our tactics; it just managed to be a hurdle for us.
But not tonight.
Sure we had our hiccups, but on our fourth attempt, The Zug Initiative ended up persevering through one of our biggest challenges as of yet.
So, that is why I would like to say to EVERYONE in our guild:
CONGRATULATIONS ON DOWNING PROFESSOR PUTRICIDE AND CLEARING THE PLAGUEWORKS!
I know this may not be a big deal to some of the more cutting edge folk out there, but this was awesome for us.
And so, we end our night on a high. 🙂
