This is basically a quick little post to say “Thank You” to Blizzard for some wonderful customer service!
Yes, I’m being perfectly serious. 😛
About two months ago, I ordered a Wind Rider Cub from the Blizzard store for Chawa’s birthday. It was supposed to take maybe a week to get delivered. But it never showed up. I gave it a bit of extra time because I know Canada Customs can be problematic sometimes.
By the time a month went by, I wrote an e-mail basically saying that it never showed up. I don’t have a hissy fit and blame Blizzard for all that was wrong in the world. I didn’t blame UPS for delivering the package to the Galapagos Islands or anything, either. I just basically said, “I don’t know what went amiss – but the goods never showed. Please help!”
A day or two later, I get a reply simply stating that another cub was going to be sent, free of charge! Hooray!
Fortunately, unlike the first one, it showed up on the doorstep within the expected time frame.
I was able to hide it for a few days and then surprise Chawa with it a bit later.
So thank you, Bliz, for rectifying the situation and helping me earn some DKP with the missus. 🙂
