Regis and I hit the grocery store Saturday morning and I was inspired for something tasty. Since it was a tad too windy for BBQ, we picked up a roast to roast! Something we had never tried before.
I am a fail girl – I am a noob in the kitchen. However, I am good at suggesting new things to try… or rather, new things for Regis to try to cook! Of course, all of my suggestions usually rely on calling our mothers for their expert advice and experience in the kitchen! Sure, we had vague ideas of what had to be done but you can’t down a raid boss on vague ideas alone!
MoMWiki has never let us down yet! After a call to the Mom, we had confirmed our plan for supper and I prepared the veggies ahead of time.
Our roast would take 2 hours to cook and based on the time of the day, we calculated we had 1 to 1.5 hours before we should start cooking. So we headed to Azeroth.
That was our first mistake. 🙂
The 2nd mistake was not understanding what exactly Regis meant when he said “This is taking too long.” He had joined a pug but I was too busy with playing with my own character to notice.
1.5 hours later I say “We should start supper”. I turn to Regis and finally notice that he’s in a 25man ToC raid.
At this point, one only had one option.
To cancel supper plans officially in favour of him having a chance to finish ToC 25M, something he had never done before.
